four-year Institute Certificate from LDS Business College, and a BS in Humanities—Media Arts with a Music
Minor from Brigham Young University. He has

award. He also earned his Eagle Scout Award, and served an honorable full time mission for the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Harrisburg, PA mission.

I would like to thank my family and friends who have supported me in my passion of wholesome music, and
hope this collection of songs will evoke spiritual awakenings within your soul, create a greater desire to
worship in truth and spirit the God who gave us life, and inspire you to trust, serve, and love God with all
your heart, might, mind and strength. Most of all, I thank the Lord for granting me the gift of harmony in my
life, for instilling in me the love of a righteous song of the heart, and for teaching me all I need to know about
life through the principles taught in music.
Surely, we can all do great things, and while our lives cannot be
entirely constructed of major chords, as there will surely be minor difficulties, trials and snares, we can still
have a song in our heart and move forward with God as the Master Orchestrator and Conductor of our lives.

Hans Choi

Han’s prodigious abilities at the piano come from a relentless drive to pursue musical perfection.  His musical pursuits started at the age of 6, and continued to this day as a classical pianist and a collaborative accompanist.  While in his formative years, he has competed and placed 1st in many music competitions, cementing his credibility as a performer.  He has performed in several music competitions over the years, and has given many solo piano recitals.  Han’s playing is renowned for a burnished, deep, sensitive, warm, and a powerful singing tone.  He carries a sensitive yet freewheeling, fun loving spirit to his musical renditions, always leaving nothing musical to waste.  Instrumentalists and vocalists alike praise his deeply expressive playing and balanced tonal approach to accompanying.  Han’s musical efforts are about evenly divided between classical and spiritual music, the latter often done in collaboration with fellow musicians.  A sharp ability to sight read coupled with a first rate memory have allowed him to amass a large repertoire of classical piano works, over 200 in all.  His uncanny ability to improvise and transpose existing pieces of music has added to his versatility as a solo performer and accompanist.  He ultimately believes music should be the sum total of one’s own life experiences and personal testimony, as opposed to music being the all consuming sum total of one’s life.  Han combines his applied science/technical background with his artistic skills to create a philosophical synergetic fusion of art and science in his music.

An Oregon and Virginia native, Han studied Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics during his college years at Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University.  Han served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City, UT.  An engineer by trade, he is an unrepentant automobile and aviation enthusiast.  His favorite athletic and outdoor activities include basketball, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, rafting, racquetball, sailing, and tennis.  He also enjoys cooking, test driving new cars, reading, traveling, woodworking, and watching college football games.  Han is a devoted fan of Virginia Tech football, and also enjoys watching pro tennis and golf matches on television.  He credits his diverse array of interests to spending a good portion of his spare time at Barnes & Noble or Borders.  He relishes Korean, Italian, and Mexican cuisine in particular, as well as smoothies and Fresca.  He shares more than just musical synergy with his friend Todd, whom he credits with helping him recently rediscovering the joy of eating cold cereal for breakfast.
